Fueling the Great Loop

Fuel 1 was the official fuel sponsor for Robert Youens's 2026 Great Loop attempt, coordinating fuel deliveries at stops along the route.

1. 2025

   Robert Youens completed the roughly 6,000-mile Great Loop in 19 days, 13 hours and 1 minute.

2. July 13, 2026

   Robert and Steve Hernden set off from the Mobile, Alabama area on a second Great Loop record attempt, aboard Robert's jon boat, Ageless Wanderer.

3. On the water

   Fuel 1 had PurFuels 93 non-ethanol gasoline waiting for him at stops along the route. The first leg ran from Mobile toward Cape Coral, Florida, and on Day 2 Robert stopped for fuel with Fuel 1 Team.

4. July 20, 2026

   Hull damage on Lake Erie cut the attempt short.
